“Let's talk snuff!”

Dear SnuffTalk reader,
When I first cast about for a means to quit smoking, in 2000, I had already decided that I had no wish to give up nicotine itself. This left several options open to me: chewing tobaccos, snus, “smokeless” products, nicotine gum, nicotine patches, and nasal snuff. I’d had a long history of occasional snuff use dating back to about 1980, and decided to explore the world of snuff.
I discovered that information on the varieties and use of nasal snuffs were a bit hard to find; only a handful of sites discussed the topic at any depth. Nowhere could I find lists of snuffs and their manufacturers beyond what the retail sites displayed. So I began to compile one of my own, relying on the fine folks at the Yahoo discussion group to direct me towards snuffs unfamiliar to me. In early 2006, I realized that what I was putting together for myself might prove useful to others who were seeking the same information, and thus SnuffTalk was born.
At present, there are three SnuffTalk sites— snufftalk.org, where information and discussion can be found; this snufftalk.info, where statistics and general information about the SnuffTalk pages may be discovered; and snufftalk.com, which I have reserved for any future retail operations I may decide to pursue.
Thanks for visiting,
Andy
